Zerubbabel is Sheshbazzar?

Moving to talk: "according to the Jewish Encyclopedia, also known by the Persian name of Sheshbazzar". This is the first place where I see this assertion and the J.E. actually says it is "moot". Zerubbabel -> Ze/ru/bba/bel -> Je/ru/sa/lem

Article name

It seems somewhat odd to me that Zrubavel is the name given in the lead, but that Zerubbabel is the title of the article, with Zrubavel as a redirect. Shouldn't it be the other way around? And if the article is to be called Zrubavel, shouldn't we use that name by default in the (non-quoted) text?

Zerubbabel and Sheshbazzar — Scope, etc

Currently Sheshbazzar redirects to this article (Zerubbabel). Yet there is no section on Sheshbazzar, nor even discussing the assertion that the two are (possibly) the same person. There needs to either be a separate article for Sheshbazzar, or there needs to be added to this article a section which discusses Sheshbazzar. Someone who follows a link to Sheshbazzar expecting something on Sheshbazzar would be rather confused/frustrated to find an article about Zerubbabel with almost no mention of Sheshbazzar. — al-Shimoni (talk) 20:26, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Individual users do not arbitrate what the site needs or doesn't need, nor is the fact that we occasionally cross paths anything unordinary. The modern Hebrew pronunciation is different from the classical pronunciation whence the English term's spelling. It is unnecessary to put a Modern Hebrew pronunciation because this is not a Modern Hebrew term. This is explicitly just Biblical Hebrew, and claiming we don't get to decide what Wikipedia "needs" is just incorrect. That's what editors do. You also did not reply as to why you simply revert all of my changes every time you disagree with a single point I make. Are you suggesting my correction of the Tiberian phonemes was wrong?
